Firefox proxy setting - About Config

We can configure preference settings through about:config.

Below is the setting line for proxy,

Possible values and their effects

0----Direct connection, no proxy. (Default in Windows and Mac previous to /Firefox 3.6.4)

1----Manual proxy configuration.

2----Proxy auto-configuration (PAC).

4----Auto-detect proxy settings.

5----Use system proxy settings. (Default in Linux; default for all platforms, starting in /Firefox 3.6.4)

Mozilla.cfg - is the below file and to be replaced in - %programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox\Mozilla.cfg

lockPref("", false);
lockPref("app.update.enabled", false);
pref("browser.startup.homepage", "");
pref("network.proxy.http", "");
pref("network.proxy.http_port", 8080);
pref("network.proxy.type", 1);
